The CKC has approved our dates for April 1-4, 2010 in Chilliwack BC at Heritage park. Events will include a National Specialty Show, CKC Licensed Obedience Trial (BSD Only) and 2 CKC Agility Trials (one BSD only and one all-breed). As well, there will also be Herding, Junior Handling, the Specialty Banquet and the AGM. The Renaissance Dog Club is hosting 4 CKC All-Breed Conformation shows that weekend on the same venue. So far, our judges include: - Pauline Stern-Hanf (Belgium) - Conformation
- Karen Brearley - Obedience
- Ramona Kraft - Sweepstakes
- Case Laan - Agility
We're still awaiting final approval for our Herding events and expect that to follow shortly. It's going to be a great weekend with lots to see and do, so make sure you've got it marked on your calendar. |

2010 - After the Gold! Details are starting to come together for the BSDCC 2010 National Specialty. Please check this page often for news and updates. As soon as you're done with next year's National Specialty in London, Ontario it's time to start planning to join us in BC for 2010. Dates are still pending approval by the CKC, but plans are to hold the National Specialty in conjunction with the Renaissance Club shows on the first weekend in April 2010 (which just happens to be the Easter weekend). There will be a full slate of affiliated events including Herding, Obedience, Agility and Sweepstakes. The ever popular "Beauty and Brains" will be offered again. Plans are in the early stages for a couple of raffles with truly outstanding prizes. We're planning on allowing you the opportunity to participate on-line and well in advance of the specialty itself. If you can volunteer in any way, drop
