Lori Thomas and Idol had a great trip to the US Nationals. Here's Lori's report, in her own words.

We (me- Lori Thomas and hubby Chris) headed south to Sacramento,CA to the 2009 Malinois National Specialty with Idol, Avonlea American Idol, bred by Ann MacKay. It was quite the week to say the least!
April 22 at herding trial #1 Idol was first place in his herding started sheep class and got HIT! Same day herding trial #2 we went 4th place and with our combined scores got High Combined in Trial! These were our first trials ever.

April 23rd we did agility and won 1st place in our Novice standard class.
Then the big day, April 26th, under breeder judge Susie Williamson, Idol was awarded WD, BOW and BISS !!!! What a day!!!

Idol also got a versatility award, missing out Most versatile malinois by only 3 points!

Way to go Lori and Idol (and Chris - the bus driver never gets any credit). What an amazing week for you!

Here's Lori Thomas and her boy Idol working at the HS level. Lori and Idol had a good weekend, with Idol taking RHIT all three days in his class.

It was also a good event for Tina Klimko and Lacey. Lacey earned her HT and the first leg on her HS on the weekend.
